Privacy Policy

Privacy by Design: We collect only the minimum routing data required to transmit the notification events you explicitly subscribe to. We do not sell, monetize, or track your personal information.

1. Introduction

Mehrnet ("we", "our", or "us") operates Mehr Notify (notify.mehrnet.com, notify-api.mehrnet.com), our Telegram bot (@MehrNotifyBot), and our Email notification bot. This Privacy Policy outlines what information is collected, how it is used, and how you retain control over your data.

2. Information We Collect

We only store information necessary to authenticate commands and dispatch notifications to your designated channels:

  • Telegram Channel Data: Telegram User ID, Chat ID, and username. This information is provided automatically by Telegram when you initiate chat or commands with @MehrNotifyBot.
  • Email Channel Data: Your email address and sender display name. Used solely to route notification alerts and deliver replies to your email commands.
  • Subscription Targets: Mehr Gateway public API tokens, RSS feed URLs, and unique webhook UUID identifiers.
  • Delivery Logs: Event delivery timestamps, event types (e.g. invoice.paid), delivery status (delivered/failed), and sanitized error logs. Logs are maintained temporarily for debugging and reliability audits.

3. What We Never Collect

We adhere to strict self-custodial principles:

  • No Private Keys or Seeds: We never ask for, collect, or store crypto private keys, mnemonic seed phrases, or master wallet secrets.
  • No Financial Balances: We do not track personal wallet balances or portfolio holdings.
  • No Tracking Cookies: We do not use third-party analytics trackers, advertising beacons, or marketing cookies on notify.mehrnet.com.

4. How Your Data Is Used

Collected data is used strictly for:

  • Registering and routing webhook notifications from upstream services to your Telegram chat or Email inbox.
  • Preventing spam and abuse via edge rate limiting.
  • Maintaining service reliability and operational telemetry.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You retain complete ownership and control over your subscription data:

  • Instant Deletion: Issuing /unsub <type> <uuid> in Telegram or by email permanently deletes the subscription record from our Cloudflare D1 database and unhooks the registered webhook.
  • Transient In-Memory Cache: Transient polling caches and message deduplication hashes expire automatically.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner only with essential infrastructure providers to deliver the Service:

  • Cloudflare: Edge compute (Workers) and database (D1). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Telegram: Delivery to Telegram users via the Telegram Bot API.
  • Purelymail / SMTP: Email notification delivery via standard TLS-encrypted SMTP transport.
