Privacy by Design: We collect only the minimum routing data required to transmit the notification events you explicitly subscribe to. We do not sell, monetize, or track your personal information.

1. Introduction

Mehrnet ("we", "our", or "us") operates Mehr Notify (notify.mehrnet.com, notify-api.mehrnet.com), our Telegram bot (@MehrNotifyBot), our Email notification bot, and our Discord bot integration. This Privacy Policy outlines what information is collected, how it is used, and how you retain control over your data.

2. Information We Collect

We only store information necessary to authenticate commands and dispatch notifications to your designated channels:

  • Telegram Channel Data: Telegram User ID, Chat ID, and username. This information is provided automatically by Telegram when you initiate chat or commands with @MehrNotifyBot.
  • Email Channel Data: Your email address and sender display name. Used solely to route notification alerts and deliver replies to your email commands.
  • Discord Channel Data: Discord Channel ID, User ID, and Server ID. Used to post webhook alerts to your chosen channels.
  • Subscription Targets: Mehr Gateway public API tokens, RSS feed URLs, and unique webhook UUID identifiers.
  • Delivery Logs: Event delivery timestamps, event types (e.g. invoice.paid), delivery status (delivered/failed), and sanitized error logs. Logs are maintained temporarily for debugging and reliability audits.

3. What We Never Collect

We adhere to strict self-custodial principles:

  • We never request, store, or have access to private cryptocurrency keys, seed phrases, or fund withdrawal credentials.
  • We never use tracking cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party marketing pixels on notify.mehrnet.com.
  • We never sell, rent, or trade your contact information with advertisers or data brokers.

4. How We Use Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

  • Register webhook endpoints with the Mehr Gateway API for your account.
  • Deliver real-time invoice and payment status alerts to your preferred channel.
  • Process interactive bot commands (e.g. /subscriptions, /unsubscribe).
  • Prevent email bounce loops and maintain service security.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

To deliver notifications across global infrastructure, we rely on trusted infrastructure providers:

  • Cloudflare: Edge compute (Cloudflare Workers) and distributed SQL database (Cloudflare D1). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Telegram: Telegram Bot API for instant message delivery.
  • Discord: Discord REST and Interactions API for channel notifications.
  • Purelymail: Encrypted SMTP (port 465 SSL/TLS) for automated email delivery.

6. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

You retain complete control over your subscription data:

  • Instant Deletion via Bot: Sending /unsubscribe <uuid> in Telegram, by Email, or in Discord immediately deletes your destination target from our database.
  • Manual Request: You may request complete erasure of your chat ID or email address from our records by emailing privacy@mehrnet.com.

7. Security Practices

All API communication is strictly encrypted using TLS 1.3. Telegram webhooks are verified using secret token headers, Discord interactions are cryptographically authenticated via Ed25519 digital signatures, and outgoing mail is encrypted via SSL/TLS on Port 465.
