Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Mehr Notify website (notify.mehrnet.com), the API (notify-api.mehrnet.com), the Telegram bot (@MehrNotifyBot), the Email notification worker, or the Discord bot integration (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Mehr Notify is operated by Mehrnet ("we", "us", or "our"). The Service provides automated event subscription and notification delivery tools, including:
- Webhook integration for Mehr Gateway cryptocurrency payment and invoice events.
- Feed polling and updates for publicly accessible RSS/Atom feeds.
- Multi-channel delivery to Telegram chats, email mailboxes, and Discord server channels.
3. API Keys & Self-Custodial Responsibilities
To configure webhook alerts for Mehr Gateway accounts, you provide a Gateway API key (e.g. 1000000001:...).
- Zero Custody of Funds: Mehr Gateway API keys used for notification registration do not possess withdrawal or fund-moving capabilities. Mehr Notify never requests, accesses, or stores cryptocurrency private keys or seed phrases.
- User Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and tokens. Do not share your private API keys in public Discord channels or untrusted environments.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit malicious, abusive, or denial-of-service payloads against our webhook endpoints or notification channels.
- Subscribe unauthorized third parties to unwanted notifications or spam.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or bypass authentication and rate limits.
- Subscribe to illegal or defamatory RSS feeds or endpoints in violation of applicable laws.
We reserve the right to immediately terminate or disable any trigger, UUID, or user target that violates this policy.
5. Third-Party Platforms & Dependencies
Notification delivery relies on third-party messaging and transport platforms, including:
- Telegram: Delivery to Telegram accounts is subject to the Telegram Terms of Service.
- Discord: Delivery to Discord servers and channels is subject to Discord's Developer Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Email / Purelymail: Email transmission is delivered via standard SMTP and is subject to provider anti-spam policies.
- Cloudflare: Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare Workers and D1 database edge infrastructure.
We are not responsible for delivery delays or downtime caused by disruptions on these third-party platforms.
6. Service Availability & Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
While we strive for sub-second notification latency and high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery or that notifications will be error-free. You should not rely solely on automated chat notifications for critical financial accounting without verifying transactions on-chain or via the Mehr Gateway dashboard.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEHRNET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, OR MISSED TRANSACTION ALERTS.
8. Cancellation & Unsubscribing
You may cancel any active notification trigger at any time by issuing the /unsubscribe <uuid> command within Telegram, by email, or within Discord, or by deleting the webhook in your Mehr Gateway account. Upon unsubscription, all event routing to your target is removed immediately.
9. Contact & Modifications
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance.
